Chad Cluver- DRC's New Engineer

By Adam Swartley | Thu, 8 Nov 2007

Data Retrieval Corporation has added yet another new face this year. Chad Cluver joined the DRC team as a Reservoir Engineer in the middle of September. Chad has degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. After graduating in 2003, Chad spent three years working as a Logging While Drilling Field Engineer for Schlumbergerís Drilling and Measurements division in the Gulf of Mexico and US Land, out of Lafayette, Louisiana. He then moved to Houston and worked for the past year with Knowledge Systems, Inc. as a GeoPressure Analyst.

Chad will be working primarily with the conversion and analysis of the pressure data obtained from the SPIDR gauge, in addition to providing technical sales support as needed. He has quickly moved through his initial training and has a strong knowledge of DRCís proprietary software and of pressure transient analysis. Chadís broad experience with wellbore and reservoir characteristics will allow him to quickly interpret and analyze client data for short turnaround times. Chad will also be working with DRC clients to discuss the completed tests and the design of future tests.
